
OHIO — A Kenton man is celebrating a life-changing lottery win after claiming a $2 million top prize on an Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket.
The winner scored the prize while playing the $2,000,000 Extreme Cash game, which offers a top award of $80,000 a year for 25 years. He chose the cash option instead, receiving a lump sum of $1 million. After federal and state taxes, his total payout will be $732,500.
The winning $20 scratch-off ticket was purchased at Fuel Mart, located at 302 S. Detroit St. in Kenton.
According to the Ohio Lottery, the $2,000,000 Extreme Cash game has overall odds of winning of 1 in 3.18.
