ARKANSAS — Thousands of Arkansas residents are without electricity as of Saturday, according to the latest statewide outage data.

Power outage tracking information showed approximately 3,440 customers without service across the state out of more than 1.66 million customers monitored.

The outages are concentrated primarily in Saline County, which accounted for the vast majority of impacted customers. Saline County reported 3,357 customers without power, representing nearly all outages statewide.

Smaller numbers of outages were reported in several other counties. Jefferson County had 22 customers without power, while Desha County reported 15 outages. Lawrence County had eight customers affected, followed by Washington and Union counties with seven outages each. Clark County reported four customers without service, and Pulaski County reported three.

Utility providers typically advise residents experiencing outages to report them directly and to avoid downed power lines or damaged electrical equipment.
