OHIO — An Ohio Department of Transportation snowplow was struck by a car while merging onto Interstate 77 in Stark County, ODOT District 4 reported on social media.
According to the department, the vehicle behind the plow made an improper lane change, colliding with the truck as it entered the highway.
Video released by ODOT shows the plow continuing forward, briefly pushing the car as it spun to the side.
The department said eight snowplows across Ohio have been hit so far this winter. In its post, ODOT urged drivers to use caution, writing, “Please slow down & give our crews plenty of room to work to help ensure the safety of everyone!”
