
SOUTH CAROLINA — Two 12-year-old middle school students are facing charges after authorities say they made a school shooting threat.
According to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies learned Thursday about threats made in a group chat targeting staff and students at Red Springs Middle School.
Investigators said the two students allegedly made the threats and have been charged with communicating a threat of mass violence on educational property.
