MISSISSIPPI — Two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Jackson.
According to Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on Lakeland Drive westbound at the Interstate 55 North Frontage Road.
Capitol police, AMR, and Jackson firefighters responded to the scene. Two individuals were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
