MISSISSIPPI — Two people were found dead Monday morning in what authorities are investigating as a possible murder-suicide in Lee County.
Sheriff Jim Johnson said deputies responded to a home near Five County Sportsman Lake in Guntown for a welfare check. When they arrived, they discovered two people dead inside.
The victims’ identities have not yet been released. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said additional details are expected to be announced soon.
