FLORIDA — Two men died Sunday evening in a crash on State Road 2, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 6 p.m. when an 80-year-old pickup truck driver from Bascom attempted to turn left into a private driveway. The truck collided with a motorcyclist who was passing in the left lane.
The collision ejected both drivers from their vehicles. The pickup continued off the roadway and struck a fence. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
