MISSISSIPPI — Two people were killed in a shooting Sunday night in Jackson, according to police.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in the 5300 block of Dogwood Trail near Oakridge Road. Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to the scene and found two men dead.
Police identified one of the victims as 31-year-old Antonio Arnold. He was found lying in a ditch. The second victim, 63-year-old Glen McWilliams, was found lying in the street nearby.
Investigators said the case is being handled as a homicide by the department’s robbery and homicide unit. No suspect information has been released.
Authorities have not said what led to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
