
MISSISSIPPI — Two people were arrested Monday, September 22, on drug trafficking charges following a multi-day investigation, according to the Gulfport Police Department.
Police said 29-year-old Kevon Jamall Barnes and 30-year-old Danielle Lashay Jordan were charged with trafficking fentanyl.
During the operation, officers recovered more than 40 grams of fentanyl and nine grams of marijuana. They also seized a firearm, digital scales, plastic packaging materials, and several thousand dollars in cash.
Barnes and Jordan were taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, where a judge set their bond at $250,000 each.
