OHIO — Two young men were taken into custody early Sunday after police say they broke into Paycor Stadium.
According to court records, 19-year-old Kaleb Truong of Norwood and 18-year-old Alexander Winegeart of Mason were found inside the stadium without authorization.
Investigators said surveillance footage showed Truong climbing a locked fence to gain entry. Once inside, he reportedly attempted to steal a barbecue smoker. Officers confronted him as he tried to leave, prompting him to run back inside the stadium. Police then deployed K9 units, which helped lead to his arrest.
Winegeart was also arrested at the stadium around the same time, though documents did not provide the same level of detail regarding his alleged actions. Both men are facing theft-related charges.
Records show Truong was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center at 4:40 a.m., followed by Winegeart at 4:45 a.m. They are scheduled to appear in court for arraignment Monday at 9 a.m.
