VIRGINIA — Three 18-year-olds from Richmond have been charged in connection with two armed robberies that took place in Virginia Beach earlier this month.
According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, the first incident occurred at 10:36 p.m. on July 5 near the intersection of 25th Street and Atlantic Avenue, where three individuals reported being robbed at gunpoint.
About an hour later, at 11:28 p.m., officers were flagged down in the 2100 block of Pacific Avenue for a second armed robbery.
Following an investigation, police charged the following individuals with multiple counts of armed robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit robbery:
- Jeremiah Dodson, 18, of Richmond
- Jsean Eberhardt, 18, of Richmond
- Rahgei Hopkins, 18, of Richmond
Authorities said all three suspects are currently in custody out of state and are awaiting extradition back to Virginia Beach.
