
TEXAS — More than 3,500 customers across Texas are without power as of Wednesday morning, according to outage tracking data.
A total of 3,562 homes and businesses are affected statewide, representing about 0.02% of more than 15.5 million customers tracked. Texas ranks seventh in the nation for total outages and 26th for the percentage of customers impacted.
Harris County reported the highest number of outages, with 1,133 customers without power. Other counties with notable outages include Brazoria, Montgomery and Tarrant.
Among utility providers, CenterPoint Energy reported the largest number of outages, with more than 1,800 customers affected. Texas New Mexico Power and Oncor also reported outages across their service areas.
Crews are working to restore power, but no estimated timeline for full restoration has been provided.
