OHIO — A 13-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting on Cleveland’s west side Wednesday, according to emergency officials.
Cleveland EMS responded to the area of West 86th Street and Denison Avenue for a reported gunshot wound. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital and was listed in serious condition, EMS confirmed.
Cleveland Police remained on the scene Wednesday evening as the investigation continued.
No additional details, including a suspect description or what led to the shooting, have been released.
The case remains under investigation.
