MISSISSIPPI — Biloxi police are investigating after razor blades were discovered inside loaves of bread at a Walmart Superstore on Monday.
According to the Biloxi Police Department, officers were called to the Walmart Superstore on C.T. Switzer Sr. Drive around noon after store management received complaints from customers. Police said a couple of shoppers reported finding razor blades inside loaves of bread they had purchased.
When store employees inspected the shelves, they discovered additional loaves of bread with razor blades shoved inside the packaging, according to police. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
Walmart has since removed all suspected loaves of bread from the store and is asking customers who purchased bread at the location on Monday to carefully check their products.
Police said no suspects have been identified at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
