MISSISSIPPI — Deputies are searching for a man wanted in connection with a recent homicide in Copiah County.
Investigators said Artivious Hilliard is wanted in the death of Decedric Stampley, 20.
According to the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Copiah County Medical Center just after 11 p.m. on October 13, 2025, after Stampley was brought in with a gunshot wound. He later died from his injuries.
Authorities said Hilliard should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his location is urged to contact the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office at 601-894-3011 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).
