MISSISSIPPI — Jackson police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly woman who has not been heard from for several months.
According to the Jackson Police Department, 81-year-old Carol Ryan is considered missing from the Jackson metro area. Ryan is described as standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds.
Police said a family member reported Ryan missing after they were unable to make contact with her for an extended period of time. Authorities stated that Ryan was supposed to be living in a nursing home in Brandon at the time she was reported missing. Investigators believe she may be on foot.
In an effort to expand the search, Ryan has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
