KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police have issued an IAN alert for a missing 9-year-old girl with autism who was last seen in northern Kentucky.
Police said Jenny Dim was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday on MacIntosh Lane in Florence, located in Boone County about an hour northeast of Louisville.
Dim is described as an Asian girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 4 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 53 pounds. Authorities said she was last seen wearing a mint-blue jacket and pink headphones and was not wearing shoes. She also has pierced ears.
Officials are asking for the public’s help in locating the child. Anyone with information about Dim’s whereabouts is urged to contact Kentucky State Police Post 6 at 859-428-1212 or call 911.
IAN alerts are issued when children 18 years old or younger with autism or a mental illness go missing and may be in danger.
