OHIO — The Canton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old girl who was last seen in Canton, Ohio.
Police say Makenzzie Lynette Ann Hester was reported missing after she was last seen on January 28, 2026. Makenzzie is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 100 pounds, with blue eyes. While her natural hair color is blonde, authorities say her hair is currently dyed red and black.
Investigators noted that Makenzzie has several identifying features, including a tattoo of a heart and the word “family” on her upper arm, as well as a tattoo of praying hands on her inner forearm. She also has her nose pierced twice.
Police have not released details about what Makenzzie was wearing at the time she was last seen or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance. The case remains under investigation.
