MISSISSIPPI — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon in Hattiesburg.
According to the Hattiesburg Police Department, officers responded to a report of an active armed robbery in the 1800 block of Lincoln Road.
Investigators said a man entered a business and demanded money before fleeing the scene. The suspect was described as a Black male wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, black-and-white shoes and a gray hat.
Police said the suspect left the area in a white or silver passenger vehicle with an unknown amount of cash before officers arrived.

The investigation remains ongoing.
