LOUISIANA — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Saturday on Loyola Avenue.
According to police, a suspect initially approached two victims and offered to purchase a firearm from them for $200. The victims declined, and the suspect left the area.
Authorities said the suspect later returned with a second individual and again asked to purchase a firearm. When the victims refused a second time, both suspects demanded the victims’ wallets.
The victims complied with the demand, and the suspects fled the scene.
No injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing, and police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
