
ILLINOIS — Northbound Interstate 57 near Tuscola was closed Monday morning after multiple crashes and slide-offs during wintry weather, according to Illinois State Police.
Troopers said the incidents occurred between mileposts 225 and 219.5, just south of the Pesotum exit.
Between midnight and about 9:30 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a commercial vehicle and three slide-offs, including one involving a gooseneck trailer.
No injuries were reported, authorities said.
Traffic was being diverted off the interstate at Exit 212 in Tuscola as crews responded to the incidents.
