MISSISSIPPI — A woman was shot at in what authorities believe was a road rage incident Sunday night near the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
The Reservoir Police Department reported the incident occurred around 9:07 p.m. on Spillway Road at the intersection of North Shore Parkway and Old Fannin Road.
Investigators said a female driver traveling westbound noticed a vehicle following closely behind her. When she stopped at a red light, the suspect pulled alongside her and fired shots.
The woman was not hit by any bullets but suffered minor injuries from shattered glass.
The suspect is described as a white male driving a white pickup truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Reservoir Police Department at 601-992-9894.
