TENNESSEE — One person was shot multiple times during an overnight shooting in Maury County, and another individual has been taken into custody, according to the Maury County Sheriff’s Department.
The shooting occurred during the overnight hours of Thursday along Bluegrass Drive, a residential area of the county.
Deputies responded to the scene and found a victim who had sustained multiple gunshot injuries. The sheriff’s department did not release the victim’s condition.
Authorities said the person responsible for the shooting was taken into custody, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
