MISSISSIPPI — A passenger was shot and killed inside a vehicle early Sunday morning, Jackson police said.
Interim Jackson Police Chief and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones reported that the victim, an unidentified man, was pronounced dead around 2 a.m. in the 2800 block of Ridgeland Drive. Jones said the man had been brought to the location by the vehicle’s driver.
The driver was arrested on unrelated charges. Authorities have not released any information about a suspect in the shooting.
