MISSISSIPPI — A deadly fight between two teenagers in Kosciusko has left one dead and another facing a murder charge, according to local authorities.
Police Chief Greg Collins said the incident happened Monday afternoon in the 500 block of Lucas Street.
Investigators said 15-year-old Ta’khia Fletcher and 16-year-old Nina Dillon, who were former friends, became involved in a fight outside Fletcher’s home.
During the altercation, Dillon was stabbed and transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Authorities said Fletcher has been charged with murder in connection with the incident.
No additional details about what led to the fight have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
