SOUTH CAROLINA — A driver was killed Wednesday morning after crashing into a tractor-trailer, according to state troopers. The victim has not yet been identified.
The collision occurred around 10:35 a.m. on Oct. 9 along Pendergrass Boulevard near Catawba River Road in Great Falls. Troopers said a Jeep traveling southbound on Catawba River Road struck an eastbound 18-wheeler on Pendergrass Boulevard.
The Jeep driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Authorities have not released details on what caused the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
