MISSISSIPPI — A 66-year-old woman from Benton was killed Tuesday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 55, authorities said.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. near mile marker 164.
A 2019 Land Rover Range Rover, driven by Sheryl C. Mann, was traveling south when it left the roadway and struck a ditch in the median.
Mann suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
