KENTUCKY — A woman was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in the Portland neighborhood, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bank and 20th Streets.
According to LMPD’s preliminary investigation, a vehicle was traveling east on Bank Street when it struck a parked tow truck and another parked vehicle. The woman, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
At this time, police have not released the cause of the collision. The identity of the victim has not yet been made public.
