FLORIDA — A woman was killed Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the driver of a 2016 Volkswagen Passat was heading south in the inside lane when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the vehicle.
The car veered off the road and hit a guardrail.
The impact ejected the driver from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the woman.
The crash remains under investigation.
