ALABAMA — A Carbon Hill man died Thursday night after his pickup truck crashed in northwest Alabama.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the victim was identified as Jonah Johnson, 29, of Carbon Hill.
Authorities said the crash occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. on McDade Road, less than a mile south of Carbon Hill.
Investigators reported that Johnson’s pickup truck left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
ALEA is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
