GEORGIA — Atlanta police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning at The Huntley Luxury Apartments on Park Avenue near Phipps Plaza.
Officers were called to the complex around 12:30 a.m., where they found a man with a knife wound to his chest in one of the building’s hallways. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not provided details on his involvement in the incident.
Investigators say the stabbing likely resulted from a dispute between acquaintances, and one of the men is believed to have lived in the apartment.
Authorities noted there is a large animal in the apartment. The victim, who has not been identified, is believed to be in his 20s or early 30s. The investigation is ongoing.
