SOUTH CAROLINA — A person was killed in a Sunday afternoon shooting in the Riverdale community, according to Dillon County Sheriff Jamie Hamilton.
The shooting occurred on Smutherman Drive off Highway 9, near Dillon.
Hamilton said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is assisting with the investigation.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
