MISSISSIPPI — The Aberdeen Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.
Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley identified the victim as 28-year-old Anfernee Orr of Okolona.
Police responded to a house on Evergreen Drive, where they found Orr in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the driveway. Gurley confirmed that Orr died from a gunshot wound.
An autopsy is planned, and authorities have not released additional details. The investigation is ongoing.
