GEORGIA — A juvenile was killed and an adult was seriously injured in two separate shootings Thursday, according to Savannah Police.
Officials said the juvenile was fatally shot in the 700 block of West 57th Street. In a separate incident, an adult sustained serious injuries in a shooting on Montgomery Street.
Police confirmed the shootings happened at different times but did not immediately release further details about the victims or possible suspects.
A heavy police presence remains on Montgomery Street, where part of the roadway has been shut down as the investigation continues.
