SOUTH CAROLINA — A motorcyclist has died after a crash Saturday night in Spartanburg County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Reidville Road near Burns Road.
Authorities said a 2024 Suzuki GSX-800 sport motorcycle was traveling west on Reidville Road when it went off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The motorcycle then slid off the road.
The operator was taken to Spartanburg Regional Hospital, where they later died from their injuries, troopers said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
