OHIO — A 56-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash in Harrisville Township, according to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded just after 8:30 p.m. to state Route 83, also known as Avon Lake Road, near Depot Road for reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan.
Investigators said the motorcycle operator, identified as Robert Arndt, traveled left of center and collided with a sedan in the oncoming lane.
Arndt was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the sedan was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Authorities said it is not yet known whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The Medina County Sheriff’s Office and the Medina County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
