MISSISSIPPI — A Monroe County man has died following a motorcycle crash Sunday night, officials said.
Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley identified the victim as 64-year-old Willie Easter of Monroe County.
The wreck occurred on Highway 25 near Airport Road when Easter’s motorcycle collided with a pickup truck. He was taken to a hospital in Tupelo, where he died Monday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.
