TEXAS — A man was struck and killed early Friday morning while attempting to cross Loop 410 on the city’s West Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on Loop 410 between U.S. 90 and Marbach Road. Police said the unidentified man was hit by a vehicle while crossing the roadway.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man and determine his official cause and manner of death.
The driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The incident remains under investigation.
