
OHIO — A major drug bust in Stark County has led to the arrest of a Canton man and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs, cash, and vehicles.
According to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence in the 2800 block of Dorothy Avenue NE, where they uncovered a large stash of narcotics and other items.
Rashawn Emmanuel Phillips, 30, of Canton, was arrested at the scene and is facing multiple felony charges related to drug possession and trafficking.
Items seized during the operation include:
- 1,057 grams (approximately 2.33 pounds) of cocaine
- 452 grams (approximately 1 pound) of methamphetamine
- 783 methamphetamine pills
- 20 fentanyl pills
- $4,940 in cash
- A handgun
- A 2014 Ford Fusion
- A 2018 BMW X5
- A 2022 Dodge Challenger Scat Pak
“This operation is a testament to the power of collaboration,” said Stark County Sheriff Eric Weisburn. “Removing these dangerous substances from our streets is a win for public safety and another step toward enhancing the safety of our neighborhoods.”
Phillips was booked into the Stark County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
