KENTUCKY — A months-long investigation into suspected drug trafficking led to the arrest of a man who reportedly tried to flee a traffic stop in Lexington.

Authorities said the Nicholasville Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, working alongside the FBI, Georgetown Police, Lexington Police, and the DEA, had been investigating Quavon Winslow for six months.

On August 19, officers attempted to pull Winslow over in Lexington. He initially fled but was eventually apprehended.

Following his arrest, investigators seized approximately 1.74 kilograms of fentanyl, 1 kilogram of methamphetamine, and 24 ounces of ecstasy. Winslow is facing multiple charges, and the investigation remains ongoing.
