MISSISSIPPI — A man has been arrested in connection with a carjacking at a Wendy’s drive-thru in Jackson, according to the Jackson Police Department.

Police said the incident occurred at the Wendy’s located in the 200 block of Northside Drive. Investigators identified the suspect as 34-year-old Chrishawn Marshall.

According to police, Marshall approached a woman as she was in the drive-thru line, opened her car door, and threatened her while forcing her out of her silver 2016 Ford Mustang. Authorities said Marshall reached for what he led the victim to believe was a weapon during the encounter.

Marshall then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, police said. Officers located the car a short time later and took Marshall into custody on Jan. 31, 2026.

Marshall has been charged with armed carjacking. He appeared in court on Feb. 2, 2026, where a judge set his bond at $1 million.
