
ALABAMA — A man was shot and killed early Saturday after attempting to break into a home on Sandia Boulevard, according to Huntsville Police.
Officers responded to the residence around 1 a.m. for a report of a shooting and found 25-year-old Justin Marlo Davis of Huntsville dead at the scene.
Investigators said Davis was armed when he tried to forcibly enter the home. A resident inside the house shot him during the attempted break-in.
The Madison County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the evidence and determined that no criminal charges will be filed in the case. Police did not release additional details about the resident involved.
