OHIO — Snow is forecast to spread through much of Ohio on Tuesday, bringing light to moderate accumulation for parts of the state. According to official National Weather Service forecasts, snow is most likely between mid-morning and early afternoon, with the greatest chance of measurable snow before mid-afternoon in many central and western communities.
In the Dayton area, snow is likely mainly before about 3 p.m., with a 60 % chance of precipitation and new snow accumulation generally less than a half-inch. Near Columbus, a similar pattern is expected, with snow most likely before 2 p.m. and forecast totals also less than a half-inch.

Farther north and west, including parts of southwest Ohio near Cincinnati, local forecasts and advisories indicate the potential for higher totals of 1–3 inches Tuesday, with snow becoming more likely after about 8 a.m. and continuing into the afternoon and early evening.
Overall, Ohio is under cold conditions with widespread sub-freezing temperatures during the event. Most areas will see light snow accumulations that could briefly affect road conditions during the Tuesday morning and midday commute, with the snow tapering off later in the day.
