OHIO — Detectives in Miami Township seized more than 200 pounds of marijuana during an investigation into a suspected drug trafficker, authorities said.
The discovery was made as part of an ongoing investigation, according to police. In addition to the large quantity of marijuana, detectives also found a firearm and a significant amount of cash.
Officials have not released the name of the suspect involved.
Police emphasized their continued efforts to combat drug-related activity in the community.
“We remain committed to targeting those who bring drugs and violence into our neighborhoods and to keeping Miami Township a safe place to live,” authorities said in a statement on social media.
The investigation remains ongoing.
