SOUTH CAROLINA — The Marlboro County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of an inmate at Evans Correctional Institution.
Officials responded to the prison on Monday following the death. A forensic autopsy is scheduled later this week to determine the cause and manner of death.
The inmate’s name has not been released at this time.
