MISSISSIPPI — Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Community Work Center in Macon Friday morning.
Macon police identified the escaped inmate as 20-year-old Robert Cage.
He is wanted on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Cage was last seen wearing blue pants and a gray shirt, and his hair is styled in a ponytail.
Police urge anyone who sees Cage to call 911 immediately. The Community Work Center is located on Industrial Park Road.
