FLORIDA — A Pensacola man was arrested early Tuesday morning after deputies allegedly discovered methamphetamine hidden inside a Stanley cup during a traffic stop, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the stop occurred at the intersection of Beverly Parkway and Pipeline Road after deputies pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation.
During the investigation, a K-9 unit alerted deputies to the presence of drugs. Deputies reported finding a trafficking amount of methamphetamine concealed inside a Stanley cup that was filled with ice.
The suspect, identified as 47-year-old Kishma Davis Sr., was taken into custody and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
Davis is currently being held at the Escambia County Jail without bond, according to officials.
