TENNESSEE — Emergency crews are searching for a kayaker who went missing Thursday afternoon in Cheatham County, authorities said.
According to officials, rescue teams launched boats into the river near The Braxton Condos in Ashland City to search for the missing individual.
Cheatham County Chief Deputy said a command post has been established at the Brush Creek Recreation Area as crews continue their efforts.
No further details about the kayaker or the circumstances surrounding the disappearance have been released.
