PENNSYLVANIA — Authorities are investigating after a body was found Friday afternoon in York County.
According to York County Emergency Management spokesperson Ted Czech, the body was discovered around 2:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Mount Zion Road in Springettsbury Township.
The York County coroner and Springettsbury Township Police responded to the scene.
As of about 3:15 p.m., officials said the scene remained active.
No additional details about the identity of the individual or the circumstances surrounding the discovery have been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
