GEORGIA — Authorities in Albany are investigating after a burned body was discovered in the city on Tuesday.
Officials say the remains were found in the 2800 block of Rosebrier Avenue. Due to the condition of the body, investigators have not yet been able to identify the victim.
The remains have been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab, where forensic experts will work to determine the person’s identity as well as the cause and manner of death.
Additional details have not yet been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
